Press Release for our Little BB36

3rd Annual Bone Bender 3/6 Hour MTB Odyssey

Mountain bikers from across the Midwest will roll into Lawrence, Kansas on April 17, 2011 for the 3rd Annual Bone Bender 3/6 Hour MTB Odyssey. The BB36 moves to the popular North Shore trails of Clinton Lake State Park for its 3rd edition. A great course and venue awaits everyone for this year’s event.

“For the past two years we have raised several thousand dollars for the Earth Riders Trails Association. We continue our fundraising efforts this year with support of several groups including the Kansas Trails Council, Kansas Parks and the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club/Patrol” says event founder Chris Locke. “We look forward to another great event out at Clinton Lake State Park and we appreciate everyone’s support. Events like the BB36 help raise important funds to help build and maintain our trail systems”.

New this year is the addition of more classes including Open, Sport, Single Speed, Clydesdale, 2 Person (Male, Female & Co-ed) and 3 Person teams. Custom awards await all class winners along with cash and product prizes for the open divisions.

The trails are in great shape and ready for you thanks to the hard work of the Kansas Trails Council and the many trail volunteers. Come out to this year’s Bone Bender, join in the fun and kick off the Endurance League of the United Federation of Dirt. Maybe you can join the following club.
